we have reasons to say proudly： we are sure to take the lead in the world in the future again, for our problems are big, but our ambition is even bigger, our challenges are great, but our will is even greater.

i have a dream today。
i have a dream that one day every vally shall be exalted， every hill and mountain shall be made low， the rough places will be made plain， and the crooked places will be made straight， and the glory of the lord shall be revealed， and all flesh shall see it together。
wow， what a dream it has been for martin luther king。 but the changing world seems telling me that people gradually get their dreams lost somehow in the process of growing up， and sometimes i personally find myself saying goodbye unconsciously to those distant childhood dreams。
however， we meed dreams。 they nourish our spirit; they represent possibility even when we are dragged down by reality。 they keep us going。
most successful people are dreamers as well as ordinary people who are not afraid to think big and dare to be great。 when we were little kids， we all dreamed of doing something big and splashy， something significant。 now what we need to do is to maintain them， refresh them and turn them into reality。
however， the toughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams into actions。 well， just start with concrete objectives and stick to it。 don’t let the nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of future。
through our talents， through our wits， through our endurance and through our creativity， we will make it。

以上短片摘自美國經典勵志電影《Facing the Giants》中文名叫《面對巨人》或《永不放棄》。日前我在一個培訓講座上第一次觀看了該片，短短9分多鐘的情節讓全場近400多人備受震撼。當看到蒙上雙眼的Brock在教練帶著欺騙的鼓勵下，激發出前所未有的潛能，超越自我，完成了自己認為絕對沒法完成的“死亡爬行”時，坐在第一排的我被深深地感動了。
“不到最后一刻，決不放棄，不耗盡全部力氣，絕不停止”，一個人負重160磅（72公斤），用雙臂爬行110碼（110米），這在常人眼里是絕對無法達成的事情，但是Brock做到了，在教練的鼓勵下做到了！Brock以他堅韌的毅力和完美的表現，生動地詮釋了“死亡爬行”對于個人及團隊潛能開發的激勵作用。教練全程陪伴在Brock身旁，從步行到爬行，直至最后和他一起趴在草地上。在爬行的過程中，Brock覺得很辛苦，很難、“火燒一樣難受”，“太難了”、“我不行了”，但教練始終對Brock不離不棄，用愛心、耐心和激情，激勵他，鞭策他、聲嘶力竭地幫他加油打氣，直至見證他最終爬完全程，達成目標！
Brock認為自己沒有能力帶領球隊打敗對手，對自己的球隊失去信心。但是教練卻不認同球員們得看法，他要用事實來挖掘和證明Brock的潛能，并以此激勵球隊的其他成員樹立必勝的信心，贏得成功！于是，在教練的幫助下，Brock和伙伴們通過“死亡爬行”尋回了信心，并找到了自我！放眼生活當中，與此類似的人和事不勝枚舉，很多人自身具備很大的潛能，但由于主觀或客觀的原因，卻遲遲得不到挖掘和表現。如果身邊有一個良師益友，能時時鞭策和鼓勵自己，使自己的潛能得以充分發揮，并堅持“不到最后一刻，決不放棄，不耗盡全部力氣，絕不停止”的信念，我想每個人必定都能超越自我，創造更大的輝煌。
一個人不成功是因為缺乏明確目標，對自己沒有信心，缺少教練，不知道自己潛能有多大！也許，還有其他的原因……但只要相信自己選擇的方向沒有錯，就不要理會旁人的閑言碎語，朝著自己夢想 Keep going, Keep going! Don't quit, Don't quit! 直到收獲成功！
